Florida Breweries by Region & City

Find a neighborhood taproom near home, or plan a realistic brewery trip from the Panhandle to South Florida.

Plan a Brewery Trip by Region

Jacksonville & Northeast Florida breweries

Jacksonville covers a very large area, so the most useful way to plan brewery visits is by part of town rather than by the city as a whole. Residents usually pick a neighborhood taproom close to home, while visitors get more out of grouping a few stops in one area and leaving St. Augustine or Gainesville for a different day.

Tampa Bay breweries

Tampa Bay is a region, not one destination. Tampa, St. Petersburg and Dunedin each have their own brewery areas, separated by water and bridges, so residents and visitors usually do best choosing one side of the bay per outing.

Space Coast breweries

The Space Coast stretches along Brevard County's Atlantic shoreline, with brewery stops spread between several coastal and mainland towns. It is distinct from the Treasure Coast to the south, so plan each as its own area.

Panhandle breweries

The Florida Panhandle runs a long way from Pensacola east toward Tallahassee and beyond. Brewery stops are spread across several cities and beach communities, so distance planning matters more here than almost anywhere else in the state.

Miami & South Florida breweries

South Florida is a long metro region, not a single walkable neighborhood. Miami's Wynwood, Broward's Oakland Park and Palm Beach County's Jupiter are separate areas, so residents and visitors usually plan around one neighborhood per outing.

Orlando & Central Florida breweries

Central Florida's brewery scene is spread across Orlando's neighborhoods and surrounding cities. Places like Winter Garden and Sanford are separate from the theme park areas, so visitors should plan brewery stops as their own outing rather than a quick add-on to a park day.
